Each speaker will present a 15 minute talk which is sure to make you laugh, learn and wanting more!

The first session features the highly talented MC, Ali Hill and two key note presenters, Zara & Troy Swindells-Grose. If you are not already convinced be sure to read about the very talented and experienced presenters below.

MC: Ali Hill
Ali is a Registered Psychologist, skilled trainer, keynote speaker, author, and CEO of motivation and behavior strategy company Pragmatic Thinking. Ali has a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with both organisations and individuals. Co-author of top business book 'Dealing with the Tough Stuff: How to achieve results from key conversations’, and her first solo book ‘Stand Out: A real world guide to get clear, find purpose and become the boss of busy’. Ali is producer of the innovative empowerment movement that is th e Stand Out Life podcast series. Ali often offers her expert opinion on a various media platforms appearing on MORNINGS (now TODAY EXTRA), Daily Edition, and being featured in various Fairfax and news.com.au articles alongside Business Chicks. Ali has also shared her expertise with several extremely successful businesses and corporations, including PepsiCo, Sydney Water, BHP Billiton, Bond University, Griffith University, and BlueCare, presenting her unique and authentic message as a sought after international keynote speaker and MC.

Keynote Presenters: Zara & Troy Swindells-Grose
As directors of Humour Australia, they believe that Good Humour is Good Business an in fact, the cornerstone to a happy and ispiring life. They run masterclasses in humour and storytelling here and abroad and have partnered with some pretty impressive organisations like: Coca Cola, Telstra, Cadbury, Qantas, IBM, Microsoft, Commbank and more. Troy is an award winning comedian who’s worked with Disney, Movieworld and Dreamworld producing entertainment spectaculars! Zara has delivered two TEDx talks (he Epidemic of Over seriousness in the world and The Lighter Side of Death). Together… they are the creators of a kids animation series that has been seen in 90 countries – in 16 different languages and have just launched their latest book (also their first book!)

Presenter: Nathan Clark
Nathan is currently the Club President of one of the largest Toastmaster Clubs on the Gold Coast, where he helps students develop public speaking and leadership skills to enhance their career prospects. He has a background in coaching public speaking seminars, mentoring others and in November 2016 brought home gold for the university club in the Area 34 Speech Contest.

Presenter: Shiiké Vanderwerff
Shiiké Vanderwerff is a passionate executive coach with more than two decades experience. He works with individuals and organisations to reach their goals through purpose and progress. As a keynote speaker, executive coach and online author he has delivered professional development programs to several thousand people.

He is a values based leadership and leadership communication specialist and uses mental conditioning for performance excellence. Shiiké has delivered the highly reviewed Student Success Series at GUGC, working with a diverse cross section of students sharing tips and techniques that influence success both on and off campus.

Shiiké believes that every moment is an opportunity for excellence and that Socrates got it right when he said, “there is no greater purpose than service to others”.
